I played around with the theme song and got rid of the vocals!  Here is what the instrumental version of Degrassi's Season 11 theme song sounds like!

Get Ready for Degrassi!

TeenNick recently released their promo for the Get Ready for Degrassi Marathon:

What are my thoughts?

I love where sweet, good-girl Anya is headed this season, even if it may cause her trouble!  She has had a very tough year, but she is strong and has been able to keep herself together.  I bet she will try to act more mature if she cannot get Dr. Chris, resulting in her newfound promiscuous behavior.  In season 10 Anya has truly found out who she is and has grown into a beautiful young lady, and I wonder if she will start using her looks to her advantage... very exciting and different for her!  I am glad that out of all the seniors this upcoming season, it looks as though Anya will be getting the biggest storylines.  Let's just hope that she does not get into too much trouble!

Clare, Clare, Clare.  She has been my favorite character since she first appeared as a regular character in season 8.  Somewhere after her parents divorced, I don't know.  Aislinn Paul is the perfect person to play her, but I just don't like who Clare is becoming nowadays. She's just... different from the innocent, sweet Clare we all used to know.  She's growing up, maturing, and experimenting.  It's just odd to see her making out with new character Jake, even if they have been childhood friends.  I just couldn't picture Clare doing that in the beginning of season 10.  Maybe it was spending all that time away from Alli this past year that she started living adventurously?  I hope she gets good storylines without Jake or Eli, just Clare dealing with Clare-like problems.

Degrassi Mobile Game Released

Ever wish you attended Degrassi Community School?  Now it's possible!

Yes, it's true!  You can now hang with Eli, Alli, Fiona, and the rest of the characters on the Degrassi App/Mobile Game.  Although it's only available on iTunes for Apple products, it will be released for BlackBerry and Android devices sometime in the upcoming months.

I've already paid my 99 cents and purchased the App.  While it needs some work, it is pretty fun to play!  The dialogue is funny and I felt that each of the characters' lines fit them well; however, after playing I got the sense that the kids at Degrassi are crazy (and not all that friendly!)

There will be six episodes with this App, the next one being released in August.  This is something any Degrassi fan should definitely purchase!
